5/11 GAME UPDATE 1- DUCKS UP 1-0 AFTER THREE

On what has become a foggy night in Citibank Park, Ducks shortstop Derek Wathan broke a scoreless (and hitless) tie in the bottom of the third with a solo home run to right field. The Ducks have held the Barnstormers thanks in part to John Riedling escaping a bases-loaded jam with a 2-out strikeout in the bottom of the second. Wathan is now riding a seven-game hit streak to open the season.
