Audubon Pennsylvania lent its expertise in sustainable gardening to this year's solar decathlon, held last week on the National Mall in Washington, DC. Teams from 20 universities competed in the Department of Energy's third biennial Solar Decathlon, which challenged students to design, build, and operate the most attractive and energy-efficient solar-powered home.
