Despite public and congressional pressure, the Department of Interior proceeded with the sale of oil and gas leases in important polar bear habitat. Let the Interior Department know it has a moral and legal duty to protect this iconic species by immediately listing the polar bear as a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act.
