Job Description:
Sonopia is looking for a shining star within PR to lead our massive outreach, establishing Sonopia and its partner brands as the most attractive choice for consumers looking for cell phone service. Sonopia works with major music acts, sports teams, environmental organizations, professional associations and alumni associations.
The role will include setting public relations objectives, developing Sonopia's overall public relations positioning strategy and working with the CEO and CMO on execution.

Skills / Qualifications:
- 8-10 years in public relations, mix of agency and in-house experience preferred
- Domain expertise in wireless services, consumer technologies and Internet businesses

- Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task
- Startup experience is a huge plus.

Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and refine corporate messaging and the positioning of products/services
- Manage news pipeline

Responsibilities
Sonopia's lead copywriter will create creative, strategic marketing materials and some product-related copy. Production of standout marketing materials is critical to the success of our business model and to the effective sales and marketing of our partners' branded mobile phone service.
The successful candidate will develop concepts and copy for direct mail and email campaigns, advertising, web banners, flyers/collateral and other marketing platforms as identified in our partners' customized marketing plans. On the product side, you will write copy for partner web and Wap sites as necessary and complete other projects as required.
The lead copywriter will work with Sonopia's Art Director and designers to create compelling creative for our partners in the following categories:
- National Brand Owners
- Large National Charities
- Educational Institutions

- Sports Teams
- Regional Sports Clubs
Skills
- Strong (5-10 years) consumer copywriting background
- Experience across a range of print marketing platforms

Reporting to VP Product Management
Sonopia's mission is to provide every organization, group or club with the opportunity to create branded mobile service and build a unique mobile and web community of supporters and members. With Sonopia, anyone can create and start marketing a mobile service in 15 minutes or less. Since we launched in early April, over 1000 different groups have launched their own mobile services.
Summary
We're looking for the right person to manage our handsets and accessories product lines. You will work closely with the manufacturers and suppliers on ensuring us a great product lineup. We expect you to live and breathe handsets, Bluetooth headsets and other key accessories.
Working closely with key suppliers keeping up to date with their roadmaps, what sells in the market, what the new trends are. You should focus on how Sonopia can continue to offer a compelling selection of handsets that runs our mobile clients to ensure the best possible subscriber experience.
Responsibilities Include:
- Driving the creative discussions around roadmap and handset experience
- Planning our handset and accessories product line in detail by researching market trends, customer needs and developing roadmaps

We're looking for the right person to own and manage our mobile product. You will be working out of our main office in Menlo Park, California. You'll be responsible for our mobile offering including our mobile clients, subscriber sign-up, mobile services and billing.
As the Mobile Product Lead you will manage a team of product managers in Kyiv, Ukraine where we have our development center. You will work closely with the other Product Leads in Menlo Park and with key stakeholders such as our Exec team, marketing and engineering. Working closely with your team and the rest of Sonopia, your job will be to constantly improve our mobile user experience and mobile offering to lead the market in micro segmented mobile services that fit each subscriber's key areas of interest and needs.

Sonopia is looking for an experienced individual to manage the supply chain and logistics for the handsets, accessories and branded affinity we use to fuel our rapidly growing business. The scope of this role would include all aspects of the inventory life cycle from product introduction to end of life phase out, and, in support of this, interaction and management of the OEM suppliers and vendor community of Sonopia.

General Description
The Director of Logistics ensures that Sonopia maintains a robust supply chain. This is done by managing supplier relationships, integrating demand forecasts and maintaining the Sku relationships needed to ship the affinity branded devices Sonopia offers its customers.
Responsibilities
The Director of Logistics has full responsibility for the Sonopia supply chain linking suppliers (OEMs and other Vendors) to the end customer who purchases a device. This includes management of our logistics partner and interaction with partners involved in the device validation process.
Specific responsibilities
- Translation of marketing plans into demand forecasts and purchasing plans
- Management of the Sku database and assorted Sku bundles
- Management of purchase orders and releases against POs
- Management of Skus through the full life cycle from introduction to obsolescence.
- Guide new devices through the internal and external device validation process at product introduction and upon firmware upgrades
- Operational management of the Logistics Supplier
Compulsory skills:
- Supply and Demand modeling and scenario planning
- Device introduction process management
- Strong analytical skills with Excel and other desk top tools
- Executive level communications skills and the ability to produce high quality analytical information on inventory, lead times and risks/mitigating actions with regard to supply positions
- Ability to work independently and to fully own the end to end supply chain of Sonopia.
The successful candidate will also have experience in several of the following areas:
- Device validation and testing
- Management of, or working within, an OEM
- Logistics management in the FMCU space
- Management of firmware versions in existing inventory
- Quality Management techniques with regard to inspection of received goods
- Supplier and partner management
- Purchasing and purchase release processing

Educational requirements:
A BS in business, logistics or management, or related experience is required. A masters degree is desired.
