Subscriber commission Program: TERMS AND CONDITIONS

New subscribers Commission.

Sonopia will award you commission for subscribers recruited to your Sonopia, subject to the conditions below:

1. Commissions are paid for new qualified subscribers. New qualified subscribers are defined as people who have:
   • Not subscribed to and cancelled a Sonopia subscription in the previous 12 months. Existing subscribers who purchase a second or further line may result in a commission payment.
   • Paid their first two bills on time and in full. Commissions are paid after the subscriber has paid their first two monthly bills on time. If either of the first two bills is not paid or is paid late no commission will be paid.
2. Commission is payable on your own subscription - i.e. if you subscribe to your own Sonopia and meet the other requirements to be a qualified subscriber.
3. Commission on family plans are paid based on the number of lines for that family plan. Each line for a family plan counts as a subscriber. Each subscriber is considered a fully qualified subscriber when the first two bills are paid on time.
4. When lines are added to a family plan, Commission is paid whenever the maximum number of lines on the plan, over the plan's lifetime, increases . E.g. If a family plan has three lines and one is cancelled, Commission will only be paid when the fourth line is added. New lines on a family plan are considered fully qualified when the first two bills at the new monthly rate have been paid on time and in full.
5. Commissions are only paid for your own Sonopia(s), you will not receive commission for subscribers who you sign up for a Sonopia you do not own.
6. Sonopia will pay $50 per new subscriber you recruit

Ongoing commission

1. Commissions are paid based on on-time payment of subscriber bills.
2. Commission is payable on your own subscription - i.e. if you subscribe to your own Sonopia and pay your bills.
3. Commissions are only paid for your own Sonopia(s), you will not receive commission for subscribers who you sign up for a Sonopia you do not own.
4. Sonopia will pay 5% of the monthly bills of subscribers to your Sonopia(s), as commission to you.

Payment

1. Commissions are held by Sonopia and paid out periodically. Sonopia will pay Commissions not less that four times per year.
2. The minimum amount which Sonopia will pay out is US$50. If You do not accrue sufficient Commissions to reach the minimum payout amount (US$50), then no Commissions will be paid.
3. For security reasons we will only make payment to You by cheque. The cheque will be:
   • in Your name, and
   • delivered to your address as set in the Sonopia business details on Sonopia.com for your Sonopia(s).
4. Sonopia accepts no responsibility for any loss incurred due to incorrect payment details being provided to us.
5. Prior to payment of any Commissions, Sonopia reserves the right to seek proof of Your identity.
6. Where fraud is suspected, Sonopia reserves the right to withhold payment until such time as the legitimacy of the payment is verified. If Sonopia, at its sole discretion, decides a Commission has been earned fraudulently, then Sonopia reserves the right to withhold the payment.
7. You acknowledge and agree that Sonopia is entitled to change the method of payment as it sees fit. For example, we may cease to make payments via cheque, and instead may start using a different payment method. If that occurs, these terms and conditions will be updated accordingly, and the new payment method will be used from the time of the change.

Additional terms

These terms and conditions are supplementary to the Sonopia leader and Sonopia user terms and conditions.

Changes to these terms and conditions

We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. We will notify You if such an update occurs by sending an e-mail to the address we have on record for you. We will also place an updated copy of the terms and conditions on our website. The new terms and conditions will apply from the time that they are published on our website, and Your continued participation in our Affiliate Program will indicate and confirm Your acceptance of the updated terms and conditions. Any updates to these terms and conditions will not reduce the commission rate on any accounts already referred to us.
