My Story
It is now 2008, a new year, so here's a new story.
For the longest time I was technophobic, a complete Luddite. I was distrustful of new technology and didn't want it at all. Which is really funny considering that I do Tech Support now.
I guess it's been about 7 years now, that I got my first computer; a laptop that I bought off a crack-head while walking home from work. (I was a bouncer at the time) Long story short, I couldn't get in touch with the owner so he got his privacy (unlisted #) and I got his laptop. That year I learned how to use a computer.
After playing around with it, I started to notice a lot of computers were showing up on street corners, so I started scavenging old systems. That year I learned how to build computers.
I found out that i was pretty good at it. And I enjoyed doing it.
Then one year I started learning how to fix computers.
These were my hobbies. I did it because i wanted to and I enjoyed doing it.
Now I have a job doing IT.
